Shadow Lake is located less than 2 hours from Toronto, in the City of Kawartha Lakes, just 5km north of the town of Coboconk on Highway 35.

The lake is about 8 km long.  It runs parallel to Highway 35, starting at the Gull River in the township of Norland and running south to Coboconk.  The towns of Fenelon Falls, Bobcaygeon, Minden and Lindsay are an easy drive from Inaski Shores.  There you'll find museums, shopping, dining, live theatre, emergency services and the Kawartha Dairy!

Shadow Lake is part of an important Ontario watershed.  It feeds, but is not navigable to, the Trent Severn Waterway, a world famous integration of 45 locks that enable boats to navigate 386 kilometers from Georgian Bay to Lake Ontario at Trenton.  A public boat launch into Balsam Lake in Coboconk is but a short 5km drive from Inaski Shores, opening up hundreds of kilometers of additional waterways for you and your family.
